The Founder, Design Thinking and Digital Twins

AI and in particular Generative AI continues to take the limelight.

However, there are other technologies just as impressive in their scope and application. One of these technologies is Digital Twin.

Digital Twin is an umbrella of technologies, all working together to create the virtual representation. In my LinkedIn post - “Analysis. That’s the name of the game” - I make the connection between the design thinking principles witnessed in the film “The Founder” and the application of digital twins to solve business issues.

It’s a short read (2 mins), with further links on design thinking, digital twins and digital twin organisations (DTO) - a similar concept, based on process mining and telemetry data. The post is also available on Medium

What are AI Agents?

IBM Technology has a range of short and long form videos covering multiple topics - Cloud, Databases, Security etc. I’ve found them useful for quick recaps and for topic breakdowns. Watch What are AI Agents?  for a high level, yet detailed understanding of AI Agents and their capacity to solve business problems.

Investors’ Principles of Silicon Valley Taught in Stanford MBA

“EO is a catalyst to provide change by enabling access to innovation infrastructure and great stories of entrepreneurs.” On their youtube channel, one of the many videos is Investors’ Principles of Silicon Valley Taught in Stanford MBA

In the video, Professor Ilya Strebulaev discusses how innovation works and the venture capital mindset. At 03.34, he presents a mental model for the venture mindset. He mentions the “Museum of Failure”. The Museum of Failure, was a temporary exhibition in New York showcasing  epic product failures, such as Colgate’s Beef Lasagna - easy in retrospect!

Professor Ilya also mentions Juicero, an infamous failed venture backed product. The overall message - failure isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Agreed.

But back to the museum of failure, why not a permanent exhibition? Useful for business students / professionals and a marketing opportunity for donating companies.
